Hubcapis chevroletica is a piece that was originally created specifically for an art show entitled "The Art of the Hubcap". Unfortunately, the gallery sponsoring the show closed right before the show was scheduled to open. This is meant to be a fun, lighthearted piece. It is made of various car parts and scrap metal, in addition to the old Chevy hubcap that is its main feature. The petals are made of papier mache.
